Mathematics Goals Term 3
- Where you are at?
Now I am at 5B. I have moved up a lot since last year. I have now achieved the goals that I had set from Term 1, to make sensible estimates and explain the meaning of digits in numbers (decimals). I am happy that this is in my achieved and strengths box.
- Why are you there?
I am here because I have been on khan academy, focusing on those two tasks.
- Where to next?
My next steps are to work on my basic facts and learn them off by heart. I also need to work on ordering decimals using tenths, hundredths, and thousandths (3 decimal places).

Reading Goal Term 3
- Where you are at?
Now I am at L4, 4A. I have moved up a level since last year. I have now achieved the goals that I had set from Term 1. I can understand what the author has written in the text and explore what the author wrote and question the purpose. I am happy that this is in my achieved and strengths box.
- Why are you there?
Because I have focused on it and now I understand this task. I have read a lot of books that have made me ask questions to myself about what the author has written.
- Where to next?
My next steps are to read quickly and look for information (skimming and scanning) and to make a conclusion or an assumption.

My Narrative - Recording
I stumbled into the bathroom and stared in horror at my reflection in the mirror. I usually looked dreadful first thing in the morning, but today it was worse than usual. Somehow, during the night, I had transformed into a werewolf. Staring at the amazement of my huge hairy hands, I took a quick glimpse at my body but soon stopped at my tail. ‘Come on! How am I supposed to hide this… thingy!?” I thought to myself. I wasn’t worried about my tail that much, the thing I worried about was my big, hairy body! Seriously, my big hairy ears might not be enough, but a big hairy EVERYTHING to go with it? Now that, it’s just the whole definition of taking it way too far.
As I stepped outside, I instantly noticed something was wrong! It was like a crazy coincidence! My body and now this? Now, I know you are wondering what is happening. Let me rephrase this... Suddenly, I was welcomed by a cold, dark and a mysterious place. It was strange, really, because it was exactly like the dream I had last night. The whole place was dark. Dead plants were lying around, evil, red eyes stared from here to there. Just like I said… exactly like the dream! Afraid-y chills ran down my spine as I took a step closer. CrAcK! Before I could finish this sentence I fell int…..
